Cape Town Airport is the second largest airport in South Africa (behind Johannesburg Airport (Tambo)) and the third largest in all of Africa.  The airport was formally known as DF Malan Airport up until the middle of the nineties in honour of the former Prime Minister.

There are five terminals at the airport. Two are used for International traffic and three are used for domestic traffic.
