The last of the World Cup places available to European teams have now been filled with Slovenia, France, Greece and Portugal grabbing the last available slots. Supporters of these countries can now look forward to the World cup draw which takes place on December 4th.
The Irish team can certainly feel aggrieved after the handball incident which eliminated them from the competition. There was also much controversy over FIFA’s decision to seed the qualifier draw.
